ABOUT THE ARTIST
I reside in beautiful North Central Florida and I'm a proud mother of two fantastic and talented young men. With time on my hands in 2010, I started playing around with my art supplies again and one thing led to another (quite literally). I went from the pencil, to the paint brush, to the rotary drill, to the wood burner, which ultimately led to -- of all things -- The Marvelous World of Gourdistry!
I don't have a lot of letters behind my name to emphasis my education or titles with which to impress you. Rather, I'm more of a life-long, self-taught artisan with lots of passion for life. I've learned to recognize the amazing beauty that God (the Master Artist) shows me every day,. Just look at that sunrise from my backyard (above). Isn't that inspiring.?
As a child, my dream was to become an Artist Gourdistry is an art form I really Enjoy, and it's my absolute pleasure to share it with You. This work allows me to utilize almost everything I've learned over the years in combinations I would not have otherwise imagined (i.e., drawing, painting, photography, weaving, pyrography, sculpting, etc.). There's so much I want to do and so many ideas in mind --- All I need now is time to do them all!
I send a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has encouraged me on this journey and I appreciate your continued support and kindness.

"Over time, your appreciation for the question will become equivalent to your appreciation for the answer, and your appreciation for the problem will become equivalent to your appreciation for the solution. And in your newfound ease with what-is, you will find yourself in the state of allowing what you truly desire. And then, all manner of cooperative components will reveal themselves to you in a delicious co-creative dance of Deliberate Creation." -- Abraham
